Imaging the unseen is a three month project in Y2 to create a device used to study landscapes. Aimed at the future archaeologist of a submerged New Orleans, the project played with ambiguous scale, using directional light and multiple camera positions to generate pictographic images of spaces. these images show dark and light peaks and troughs; peaks demonstrate areas of the landscape that a lot of information was able to be collected, the dark troughs are areas of excitement where nothing could be seen. In these areas, information can be extrapolated and imagined.
